The food is really good and doesn't sit heavy in the stomach. The tofu and mushroom dish is a new favorite of mine, although everything I've had so far is pretty good. I'll definitely be back. |

Good food, good people. The dry mein is an obvious favorite. I really like the tuna melts, but that's just me. The place is always packed. Always. I really don't eat anything aside from dry mein, tuna melts, and turnovers from Sam Sato's. It's just filling. |

Best sandwiches on Maui, hands down. The bread was freshly baked, I almost separated the bread from the rest of the sandwich and ate it by itself. The service was a little slow but I suppose that's the price to pay if you want the best sandwich you've ever eaten on Maui. Really good baked goods too. Nice peaceful environment too being up country in Haiku and all. Did I mention they have the best sandwiches on Maui? Because they do. |

Went with some friends this past Sunday. Ordered a never ending array of dishes. We almost ran out of room on the table. I was cramming stuff in my mouth to clear a few dishes before the next ones came out so we'd have enough room on the table. Aside from the gluttony, the food was great. Kim chee fried rice. Like rice at a Mexican eatery but with a big sunny side up egg on top. Talk about cultural exchange. Pork chops, won tons, egg rolls, some sort of walnut, maybe chestnut, glazed shrimp plate. I don't remember all the names. I just remember it was all good. |

They have a few good dishes but nothing really impressive. The glazed walnut shrimp is the only dish that sticks out in my mind. They use the really long plastic chopsticks which are a pain to use. The last time I went the service wasn't very good or friendly. It was later in the evening towards closing time and they seemed grumpy, understandable seeing as it was the end of their day but sour service is still sour service. |

One of the better Italian restaurants on the island. Really good food, and equally good service. Reasonable prices but I wouldn't eat there every day, you'll easily end up spending $50 for two people. The atmosphere is pretty relaxed but the table we ended up sitting at was pretty noisy making conversation tough. |
| Gianotto's Pizzeria 2008-06-12 ago reviews |
The pizza at Gianotto's is unquestionably good and not your run of the mill grind that comes from some of the other pizzeria's on the island. The pizza is a bit pricey but comparably priced to the cookie cutter pizzerias. Gianotto's has some other really good cuisine aside from pizza. The sandwiches are top notch and the desserts are pretty good. I like the tiramisu from Marco's more, maybe it's a personal preference. The place is local, the owner is a cool guy; check it out. |

Decent Japanese food. They change the miso recently and the new stuff is not that good. Ichiban is an old time spot in the old Ah Fook's shopping area. Might not be there long so check it out while you can. |
